The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) marked its 86th Foundation Day with great passion and pride in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh.
The day was honored by Union Home Minister Amit Shah as the chief guest, who appreciated the CRPF personnel's courage and dedication to providing internal security.

Honoring the Martyrs

Prior to the parade, Amit Shah offered tributes to the martyrs at the Shaheed Sthal, honoring the valiant soldiers who laid down their lives for the country. He highlighted the key role of CRPF in anti-terrorist operations, peacekeeping, and other important assignments.

Celebrating bravery and service

The Home Minister inspected the parade, which had eight contingents of CRPF personnel. He also awarded jawans with bravery awards and distinguished service by other personnel. The event also saw spectacular performances by specialized units like Cobra, RAF, Valley QRT, and Dog Squad.

Significance of Neemuch

This year's function is also memorable since Neemuch is the place where the forerunner of the CRPF, the Crown Representative Police, was formed in 1939. The CRPF is now a robust pillar of India's internal security, maintaining its motto of "Seva aur Nishtha."
